Out of the Mouth of Babes...

Max is truly my buddy. He follows me (& Preston) around wherever we go. He talks to me and tells me his dilemmas, ideas, excitements and curiosities. Chatter, chatter, chatter. He is at a great age! He makes me laugh everyday.

Today Max asked me why I put cream cheese on Preston's bottom. (I was putting diaper rash cream on...) He continues to call it "cream cheese lotion" now.

Yesterday Max reassured Preston that he wasn't a "Poo Poo Prince" even though the rest of the family was calling him that. (I step away to wash my hands after changing the baby. I walk back into the room as Max is whispering to him, "Don't cry, you're not really a Poo Poo Prince.)

A couple days before that Max would give me regular updates when Preston was "praying." (Preston falls asleep on his tummy, hands under his chin and Max thinks he is praying while in this position...eyes closed, etc.)

Love that kid...

Updates on baby... started to smile this week. He will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Time flies. He hasn't got the whole smiling thing down yet, but works really hard at trying.

And this picture is for cousin Dena... She gave us this beautiful linen outfit for church. It is a 12 month size and I had put it away until next summer. This kid is so big-- chubby really -- that we had to expedite next summers wardrobe. Thanks Dena! He looks darling in it!

What a cutie-both Max and Preston. We had a good belly laugh at the "Poo Poo Prince." Ahh, Max. Always looking out for Preston. Love it.

I think Preston is looking more like Max, especially in this picture. I certainly missed Max after you guys spent the weekend in California with us. I think of his cute expressions and laugh over and over again--especially when he said "I think Ryan should do it," (referring to the wiping of his bottom.) How fun to have him in the family!!!! Love, Grammie
