The Incredible Edible...Animal Cell

You thought I was going to say EGG didn't you? Here is cute Aubrey with her Edible Cell Project. We had a lot of fun putting this together and Aubrey was thrilled to carry it off to school today. In case you are scientifically challenge (like me) you will note the lettuce is the cell membrane, the carrots the cytoplasm, the Ranch is the nucleus...etc. Each student was able to come up with their own edible cell made out of whatever they wished. Most do sweets (cupcakes etc.) but this was Aubrey's new twist on cells! Kind of a fun way to learn if you ask me!
