My sweet husband is going grey. I love it. I'm all for aging naturally. BUT... Aubrey is having serious issues over this! She came and got me from church to tell me that Dad's hair is so bad that if we were to cut it really short, maybe we couldn't see all of his grey. Then on the car ride home from church, she continued with how much it bothered her. Then when we got home and started on dinner, she quietly came again to discuss this matter. When Britton finally made it home that day, she still wanted to discuss it! She doesn't understand why he won't dye it!
The funny thing about this whole thing... she's not just teasing him. This "change" is really eating at her! It's funny how little signs of change can pull at one's heart-strings. I remember noticing my Grandma's hand shake and being very upset by it. I remember wanting someone to give her something to make it stop. Just can't stop Mother Nature... and sometimes it best if we don't even try. But one thing for sure... I will be dying my hair!!

Aubrey, Grammie thinks your dad should become a blonde and then the gray wouldn't show. Good idea?
Sorry, Aubrey, but he gets it from Grami Pami. I went gray very early. Fortunately, your Dad's very curly hair hides it a bit. Papa Bruce thinks gray looks great. Remember,
sweetheart, he's the same funny Dad no matter what the color of his hair.
Yeah! What's with the Worthen gray!? Just tell Aubrey she might gray early, too (like her Dad and Auntie Anna). On second thought, maybe don't tell her. :) Yes, I'm getting lots of "natural highlights" nowadays. You go, bro!
Blonde does help hide the gray...thank goodness! I can picture Britton with the blonde look:)
