A Fun Tradition

Each year Grami & Papa "hire" the grandkids so they can earn money to buy Christmas gifts. Yesterday was "working" day!

They shined everyone's shoes. Papa eventually had to put away all shoes that weren't black because the brown shoes were getting shined with black polish...oops! I think they were Britton's shoes though :) Phew!

Grami made a big breakfast and the kids feasted between jobs....

Needless to say... these were well-paid elves for a morning of vacuuming and polishing! The kids had so much fun and love working with Grami and Papa! Thank you!!

That is a cool grandpa to let the kids have a go at his shoes! I remember shining my dad's shoes when I needed some extra money.

I don't have your address to send you a card...can you email it to me?
