Hats Off To A Job Well Done!

Today was our Primary Program and I have to just take a minute and give thanks for some amazing leaders who put together what I believe to be the best Primary Program I've ever seen! It was well written and well polished. I found myself so overwhelmed watching this large group of great kids singing their hearts out and giving their memorized talks with fervor and conviction. I know these kids have a tough road ahead of them in life and I am so grateful for the Primary Program where they learn and grow with friends who will be their partners in what I believe will be some tough years ahead.

A have to drop a little "Yeah!" to my fearless four. In addition to their speaking parts, Aubrey and Chloe' accompanied 3 songs on their harps as well as did one solo while the children were getting placed. I was so proud of them. They worked very hard. Kudos you two! And Benton, in addition to his speaking part ("My earthly parents names are Britton and Lindsey") which was delivered just terrifically, sang "I Lived In Heaven" with two other little boys. Just the three of them! They were so darling! Aubrey accompanied on her harp while they sang. Very sweet. And Maxie, the wards youngest Sunbeam delivered a solid, "I Am A Child of God" only he pronounced it, "I Am De Child of De God." He took right hold of the mic and nailed his little part. Well done!

A very sweet day...

your kids were awesome. way to go! In between fighting off nugs I was really touched by the spirit a couple times during the program (one was the song with the three little boys!). They have such sweet spirits-- however, it did help that there weren't any little boys sticking their tongues out the entire program with drool down their shirts...

They all did awesome! I especially loved little Benton's voice when he said his part...it just melted my heart. I had the great pleasure of sitting right by him and Lleyton, they just sang their little hearts out!

The primary program is my favorite sac. meet. of the year. We had ours about 3 weeks ago and it does get better every year. I guess it was so good, because 4 of my kids were up their doing their parts. Marshall was working that day and his parents were out of town, but Juli was there. These kids are a gift and I hope we can keep this sweetness in them!
