Happy fifteenth Sue Sue.
You were a pumpkin for your first Halloween.
You had barely started walking.
We lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the time.
It was a crisp fall evening and we had a fire going in the fireplace.
Candy corn and tootsie rolls were your walking motivation.
We would hold out a piece of sweet in our hand and you would walk
back and forth between the two of us.
You would squeal in delight at your new found independence.
Your independence is gaining ground with each passing year
and the years seem to be going faster.
You are a beautiful young lady, both inside and out.
You are a gift to all whom you encounter.
Happy fifteenth sweet girl.
We love you.

Aubrey! You can't possibly be 15!
I remember your mom and dad living at our house for a short while before they moved into their apartment in the city (Chicago). Your mom was pregnant with you and I'm sure was feeling a little anxiety about being so far away from home. Where on earth did that time go? You are destined for big, wonderful things and we are so privileged to watch!
