Benton wears glasses right now.
He was having intense migraines for several months. After MRI's and scans, he was sent to an eye doctor. They detected strabismus. One eye was just barely off center, which would cause his headaches.
The doctor patched one eye for about six months and has him in corrective lenses to help hold the wandering eye when unpatched. His headaches have lessened significantly. The glasses seem to be holding the eye straight for now.
Benton is one sweet sweet boy.
He is soft hearted.
He is a tease.
He has a strong sense of right and wrong.
He is very intense.
He takes clean teeth very seriously.
He loves Legos
His favorite foods are Hawaiian Haystacks and Crepes.
He is adored by his two younger brothers.
He bears his testimony every month.
He always says, "I love you" and hugs with goodbyes.
(Even if I'm just running to the grocery store...)
He carries first born traits.
He is a good boy.
We love you so much...

My favorite part of talking to Benton for his birthday, even though it was two days late, was he asked ME if I've met "him" yet. I said, "who?" He said, "The guy you're going to marry. I've been praying for you!" I seriously cried...I love that boy so much!!!
Just so you know Benton, that whole eye thing you have, you inherited from me(Papa Bruce). When I was your age I also had to wear a patch and glasses too. Sorry about that! We sure do love you tons and are so proud of the good boy you are. We miss you like crazy!!
