I pick up Benton and Max from school on Friday.
Benton's first words out of his mouth...
"MOM! Dad got in trouble AGAIN!" (With great disdain and embarrassment in his face)
Mom: "What happened?"
Benton: "I got called in again to the office because of Dad's driving at drop off.
Dad drove like 50 mph and cut these people off and is dangerous!"
Later...
Me: "Britton, Benton got called in again today because of your drop off driving..."
Britton: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME! That's ridiculous! Have you seen how lame that drop off system is? Seriously, people pull in and park and get their kid out of the car! (Imagine that!) That leaves the rest of us totally backed up in line while we wait for those people to walk their child around. We don't have time for that! The boys and I have our system down... I ask them if they want cutsies, backsies or frontsies. They always cheer me on to do cutsies, so I do. (Peer pressure from a 1st grader, serious Britton?)
Later admission...
Britton: I did have one parent recently flip me off and several who have yelled out their window at me.
We have our very own Jack Butler method here at this household...

Hahaha this is so funny. It's like a glimpse into Chase's future...
Love it! And I completely agree with Britt! Why in the world do they have employees out there "directing" traffic if they're not going to be tough with these stupid parents??? Ugh! I get frustrated every single morning :)
hahaha. so awesome. I have a feeling Rich will never be in charge of drop off.
Ryan and I have had this same discussion in our house. Caden is always telling me to just pass the "borons" like Dad does. Ryan says he is just being efficient.
Lindsey! I was reading Paige C's blog and saw a link to yours. Very fun! I hope you don't mind if I follow along... Your family inspires me! Hope you're doing well. And poor Benton haha!
