Christmas Break...Week 1

 Temple lights with the cousins...

 Britton had to work and Jessica got sick. 

Joseph and I braved the crowds with the kids...

Christmas Morning.

This picture makes me giggle.

Preston was feeling so special because he had a "big boy" tie on like his brothers.

SO pleased with himself.

The ugly truth behind this picture...

I was so mad.

I had been racing around all morning getting everyone ready, feeding etc. 

First mistake:  Expectations.

I really wanted a picture of the kids in their Sunday clothes.

The girls were taking SO long to get ready.

I sometimes feel like I'm raising this herd of turtles.

We were so late I didn't have time to take the picture before church.

Second mistake:  Persistence.

By the time church was over, Preston was on complete melt down.

I tried anyhow.

Mistake.

Preston was beside himself.

I took two quick shots and said forget it.

Sometimes it's best to just to let things go...
