It's official.
The last box has been shoved into storage.
The house is clean and closes tomorrow.
I took the kids over to say goodbye to the only home they've ever known.
Chloe was just 4 months old when we moved in here.
Despite our excitement for the future, there is a sting of sadness that we each feel.
Good memories.
Good times.
Good growth.
Great home.
A few moving moments:

One of Preston's treasures... a pink bonnet. He found it when the costume boxes emerged from the closet. He loved this ensemble.

While packing up the kitchen... Preston came across a box of baking chocolate. He ate the whole box. Gross.
Benton and Max got dropped off at school in the "big" truck. They thought that was the coolest thing ever.
Little guy going for his ride. Can you say heaven!

Hopefully these next few months will go well and you will be able to truly treasure your new digs!! ox
These kinds of transitions are always surprising to me when I actually get to them-- so sweet and so sad and so exciting all at the same time! Congratulations on actually completing the move-out, good luck on surviving the transition before you can move in, and EXCITED for you to start a new chapter in the new home!! Wow!! Adorable pictures of your family in the huge truck-- I remember you and Britton moving into the apartment in Chicago... you guys and that truck and getting stuck on the freeway. Good times!
Great pictures! Congratulations!
