Thank you for coming to curriculum night to meet my teacher and to look at my classroom. This is my desk and Please do not look or play inside my desk. I hope you like learning the way our class works. Thank you for everything you do for me. I love you very, very, very much.

I briefly glanced over at some of the other notes sitting near Benton's seat to see if the other kids instructed their parents not to look or play inside their desk. You know, maybe instruction from the teacher or something. Nope. Only our note.
You better believe we went through that desk.
