Tis the course while selling your home...
1. We are a sell by owner set up as Britton has his real estate license, but doesn't actually sell real estate. It's one of those "save the 3%" hobbies. Anyhow...when someone wants to come see the house, it is my phone that takes the calls. A call came in today requesting to see the house at 8 PM tonight. I told him the house would be full of sleeping children and perhaps another time would be better. He wasn't going to budge. I offered several different options. With each offer, he got more angry. It was 8 PM tonight or never. (And yes, he said that...) So I had to take never. Seriously?
2. We had a couple showings this morning. I was quickly picking up and trying to scoot out of the house before they arrived. While I was hurrying around, Preston (aka Tornado, Destructo and Bucko) found a bright blue sharpie on Chloe's desk. In a matter of seconds, he managed to draw me a lovely picture all over the back door with the bright blue sharpie. I had to leave the artwork for the prospective buyers to enjoy. Seriously?
To be continued...

So proud of you for taking NEVER... The more serious and interested buyers will be more flexible and understanding.
Don't get pushed around by demanding "Looking Lou's."
** just remember to keep that fresh baked bread and cookies popping out of the oven to give your home that sweet lovely aroma that speaks to the senses...haha!! jK!!
I'm sure a little blue marker added just the right touch.:)
Love you guys! Don't sweat it...your home is beautiful!!
Adorable post!
I can't believe the nerve of that guy! Someone like that doesn't deserve the wonderful Worthen home so good call on the "never"! Good luck selling it though! I hope that by "staying in the area" you mean Foothills still!
OH NO!!!! Presto! Oh, I don't think i would have handled that very well.
I agree with you on the 8 p.m. showing. Too late and if he can't make anything else work he must not want it bad enough. I'm surprised his agent didn't intervene.
Hang in there!
