Max fell a couple years back and killed his front tooth.
Literally.
It turned dark and gray.
Last week at his cleaning, the dentist said the dead tooth needed to be pulled and the dead tissue needed to be cleaned out in order for his new permanent tooth to move in. Max was THRILLED! He could hardly wait "to lose his first tooth!"
He screamed and yelled throughout the whole procedure.
He bounced out the door in excitement once it was over though.
The tooth fairy came, took the tooth and left him $2 instead of the usual $1 because it was his first tooth.
A very happy 6 year milestone for this little boy.
Max is very particular about his name.
He was named after his Papa Leo.
He HATES the name Leo.
We have found him in tears many times over the fact that his name is Leo. We assure him that he can be called whatever he would like to be called and he insists it be "Max" or "Maxie"...
Not Leo and not Maxwell.
This particular tantrum has carried on for a couple years until recently. His Papa regularly teased him about his name and alas he has embraced it. Whenever he sees his Papa, he always walks by him and replies, "Hi Leo....." and giggles.
He is obsessed with the color green.
He loves ham and cheese sandwiches.
He loves morning shakes.
He eats strawberries by the pound.
He is intense and serious.
He is competitive and driven.
He loves to be snuggled.
He has dance moves like I've never seen before.
He is observant while the siblings carry on.
He takes it all in.
He remembers it all.
