Phoenix Children's Hospital

The following is NOT a paid advertisement.
(Should be though.)

Today is the annual fundraiser for Phoenix Children's Hospital.  I have been glued to the radio broadcast on KTAR.  There is a variety of hosts throughout the day who bring children and families on to tell "their" story.  The stories range.  Some have physical handicaps, some are near drownings.  Some children battle cancers, some fight disease.  All are equally painful to listen to.  All are equally inspiring.

The common thread these stories share today is the experience they have had at Phoenix Children's Hospital.  This is an exceptional place.  While fortunately I haven't seen the side of health these sweet children have seen, our family has been equally blessed by the people and programs at PCH.   We too have a PCH story to tell.  Here is how our story starts...

Dr. Manwaring
Dr. Shindell
Dr. Beals
Dr. Bailey
Dr. Chapel
Pulmonology Department
Anesthesiologists
Nurses
Floor 4

These folks allowed Max to walk, kept pressure off of Aubrey's brain, got Benton breathing again and kept him breathing, just to hit the biggies.  Stitches, xrays and procedures are also dually accounted for.  The walls of PCH are very special to me.  There are really good people there.  They have been really good to us.  I am grateful.  Grateful with tears, grateful.

I called in to make my donation at 6:30 this morning.
Did you?
