New Blog Challenge to Self:
In effort to best educate my kids for life, I have decided to post the useless information that I find to be the kind of information you just shouldn't go through life without having. You know, like cutting brownies with a plastic knife instead of metal (Lesson #1). To think of all the brownies I could have saved if I would have just known this simple fact from the beginning.
Anyhow, lesson #2.
When I was pregnant with Preston, like most pregnant moms, I couldn't get comfortable at night. We have 6 pillows on our bed. We used to have 4. The addition of pillows 5 and 6 were made during Preston's pregnancy. It was during this time, Britton and I discovered the "Art of the Tripod" as we like to call it. It is brilliant I tell you.
See, here is how it works...
You put one pillow behind for support.
Then you triangle up the other two.
When you lay down, you have optimal support and cushion making falling to sleep sheer pleasure.
I think I should patent this idea...it's that good.
Disclaimer:
I realize the pillows won't and don't stay in this position until morning, but the falling asleep part is optimal.
Sweet dreams!
