Still Aiming High...

While eating dinner tonight,

Chloe':  "Oh Mom, I forgot to tell you we had try-outs for the Spelling Bee today."

Me:  "Oh really, how did it go?"

Chloe':  "Well, the line was so long and I was at the end, I started getting bored and decided I didn't want to be a part of it."

Me:  "Didn't everyone have to try?"

Chloe':  "Yes, at least once.  So when it was finally my turn, I just spelled the word wrong so I didn't have get back in line."

Me:  "You did!  (giggle) What was the word?"

Chloe':  "Differance."

Me:  "Well how did you spell it?"

Chloe':  "D I F F E R A N C Y "
