First Meet

Yesterday was Aubrey's first Cross Country meet. They race at 4:30 in the afternoon, which is truly the heat of the day here in Phoenix. As a precaution, the coaches turn on the sprinklers and let the kids get wet before, during and after the race. It was really hot though... I think the high yesterday was still 105.

Aubrey did awesome. She raced a mile and a half... and improved her time by yet another minute. Well done Sue Sue!

Wow...It's been a while since visiting your blog. I had some great chuckles while reading that Britton is now sporting spandex, Aubrey's experience with missing undies, seeing Preston's darling, huge, and kissable cheeks, and the hilarious sayings of Max!!! What fun and exciting times!!! Kids are the best!
I can't believe that Preston fit into that little outfit. What a handsome little guy!
And Aubrey...you go girl!!! Cross country is not easy in 105 degree weather. You ROCK!

Great catching up.

Aubrey, you are one tough cookie. We would have loved to sit in an air conditioned booth and cheer you on! ;)

Darling Aubrey we are so proud of you! What a beautiful smile in spite of the heat. I bet your Dad is impressed...he never ran in 105 degree weather!

Way to go, Aubrey! You are going to be one tough little gal to beat. I'll bet that running through the sprinklers is the best part, right? I luv u.

Impressive! I can't imagine running in that heat!

Lindsey, it was so good to see you at Hunter's farewell. You are too sweet to come with all your troops. I am sorry that we didn't have longer to visit. I am so glad that I got to see your beautiful children and touch Preston's gorgeous cheeks in person. I am inspired by you and the kind of mother/wife you are. I am glad that my dear friend Andrea gets to be friends with you!

I can't believe they run in that heat? That is CRAZY! I ran in 85 degrees last week and thought I was going to die!
Cross country is not easy. Good luck! Great job on all the PR's!
