We have a little "Neeley love-fest" going on over here at our house! Max and his cousin, Neeley, have joined forces this year in preschool and now the two are nearly inseperable! Max LOVES Neeley. He begs to play with her. He and Neeley got in trouble this week at school because they hug too much. (Smile) Neeley has recently told me that she doesn't like to have races with Max anymore because he gets mad when he doesn't win. (She's onto him...) When we drop off for school in the mornings, Neeley often asks Max if he will check her face (to make sure it's clean) and her hair (that it isn't falling out.) Max does his best to inspect and gives his honest opinion. They are hilarious... and we are grateful they are such dear friends!

that is too funny. for a minute i forgot it was your blog and thought it was taani's. I was confused on how the writing was- but slow/tired mommy me figured it out and laughed at myself. that is such a cute picture and cousins are sooo much fun!
Love this blossoming friendship. I'm also glad to have someone else checking to make sure Neeley's face is cleaned. How is Max at inspecting dirty rooms? Cute little squirts...

What a darling pair of children--and how wonderful that cousins love each other so much. How glad we are to be close to them. If Neeley is already co concerned about her hair and her face, I think Ryan and Taani are in for some interesting teenage years.
